I am Farley Wang (Faquan Wang), currently pursuing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University's School of Engineering.

Throughout my undergraduate studies, my fascination with algorithm design and artificial intelligence grew exponentially. Participating in many research projects and publishing three academic papers allowed me to refine my professionalism and analytical skills. Additionally, summer internships at both a company and a State Key Laboratory sharpened my communication abilities.

Currently, I am pursuing courses related to Algorithm Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and more in my Master's program, and I am also working as a part-time researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Southwest Minzu University.

Powerful transfer learning method: Network Global Encoding

Currently, in engineering, migration learning is a vital tool for the practical application of machine learning. The current migration learning methods fail to utilize efficiently the structural characteristics of the source network. We utilize word embedding in natural language processing to encode neural network structures. In migration learning, our goal is to maintain the Euclidean distance between the original and target networks for improved assistance.

My tasks involves:
First, explore the similarity of output features between the source and target networks, and then measure the similarity of parameter distribution features of the two networks. Second, incorporate the Euclidean distance of the embedding of the two networks into the reconstruction of the loss function. Third, construct the network embedding generation structure, and improve the Transformer. Finally, conduct experiments and write the paper.

• Proposed a module that can improve the generalization ability of the convolutional neural network in the field of signal modulation recognition, and designed the ElsNet based on this module
• Proposed the channel optimization module, which can generate contribution weights for the channel of each block, thereby implementing both attention mechanism and pruning for the network
• ElsNet successfully beats the more popular neural networks, such as CLDNN and transformers, at present. Contributed to the research paper that has been published in Applied Intelligence as the first author
